After weighing the pros and cons of pavers (cost, uneven pavers due to settling, sand in pool, weeds in cracks, maintenance, etc.) vs overlay (cool to feet, non-slip, only maintenance is top coat reapplication every 3 years), we decided upon an overlay process. After reading tons of reviews and meeting with several contractors, we selected A&R Overlay. We couldn't be more thrilled with our decision. Rick and Alex are two of the nicest guys: honest, hard-working, professional, friendly, reasonably priced. They make the hard work look easy, but the end result looks so professional. They went above and beyond our expectations. Some work that wasn't discussed was included; we received a credit we weren't expecting. In a time when customer service is sorely lacking, these guys shine way above the rest. And Rick even did us a personal favor that we never even asked him to do. Who does that? We would not hesitate to recommend A&R Overlay; you should not hesitate to hire them.
